Saddle Up For Summer Fun at Hidden Palms Ranch - Horse Camps 2024!

Do you have a horse-crazy kid?

We are thrilled to announce that Hidden Palms Ranch will host summer horse camps for 2024! Designed for young equestrians aged 8-16, our camps provide a perfect mix of fun, education, and hands-on experience with our beautiful horses. Whether your child is a beginner or looking to polish their riding skills, our summer camps cater to all levels.

Camp Details:

Each camp week offers an immersive experience into the world of horses, where campers will engage in activities such as:

• Horse Care & Grooming: Learn the essentials of horse care, including grooming, basic first aid, hoof care, and bathing.

• Tacking: Gain knowledge in preparing a horse for riding and learn to label the parts of the saddle/bridle. 

• Riding Instruction: New riders will learn the basics and gain comfort in the saddle. 

• Games on Horseback & Trail Rides: Enjoy fun games and beautiful trail rides that build skills and confidence.

• Crafts: Unleash creativity with horse-themed crafts that kids can take home.

Dates:

• Session 1: June 11-14

• Session 2: June 25-28

• Session 3: July 9-12

• Time: 9 AM to 2 PM daily

• Cost: $500 per week

Important Notes for Campers:

• Campers are required to bring their lunch daily. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

• A deposit of $200 is required to register, with the remaining balance due by the first day of camp.

Spots are limited to 10 kids per week, so we encourage you to register early to secure a place for your child in this exciting summer adventure. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young riders to deepen their love for horses and make new friends in the beautiful setting of Hidden Palms Ranch.

Horseback Riding Valentine's Package for Couples

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and we have the perfect way for you to celebrate with your sweetheart!

Hidden Palms Ranch offers a unique Valentine's package that will make that special someone in your life swoon.

Nothing says romance like a serene ride through quiet oak-covered trails on horseback! Treat your Valentine to a 1 hour private guided tour through beautiful old Florida. Wind your way through narrow wooded paths, feel the awe as you ride under a giant live oak canopy dripping with Spanish moss, and see the wide-open prairie sprawling around Lake Jesup.

When you return to the ranch after your ride, sit at a beautifully decorated table for two to enjoy delicious snacks and desserts and look through the pictures of your journey taken by your guide.

We are offering limited spots February 11 - 18, so make your reservations before they fill up!

Our Valentine's Package includes:

Try A Mahogany Coffee On Us - October 3, 2020

For the past three and a half years we have been fortunate enough to meet  many wonderful people while offering guided horseback trail rides through the Lake Jesup Conservation area in Sanford, FL.

For visitors to Central Florida’s popular theme parks and attractions, horseback riding is a relaxing outdoor activity that gives you a glimpse of the real Florida. We’ve had countless people include us in their Orlando vacation. 

The heart of our business, however, is the locals and we have loved getting to know so many of you. It’s been encouraging to start seeing people who have ridden with us before come back again and again, introducing a new friend to our ranch, and sharing the peace that comes from horses and nature.

We know Covid-19 has made it very difficult on many small businesses. 2020 has been an especially challenging time to start a new business. We wanted to take a day to pause and share our appreciation to the Central Florida community for supporting us these last 3 years by in turn supporting another small business that has recently launched in downtown Sanford, FL.

While my passion is horses, one of my husband’s passions is coffee. Since he discovered Mahogany Coffee inside Henry’s Depot, he hasn’t stopped talking about it! The owner, Devon, demonstrates his commitment to making serious coffee and tea drinks through his carefully crafted menu and top notch service.

On Saturday, October 3rd., Hidden Palms Ranch is treating the first 100 people that visit Mahogany Coffee and say “Hidden Palms Ranch Sent Me”  to a coffee or tea beverage of their choice (one per person).
