Since 2016, Hidden Palms Ranch has hosted horseback trail rides across the stunning Lake Jesup Conservation Area. Our family-owned ranch in Sanford, just north of Orlando, is getting ready to open the gate for private team outings. Picture it. A group of riders and horses heads out on a guided trail through real Florida nature while everyone else settles into the ranch with an ice-cold beverage, watching the ducks paddle around the pond, realizing this is exactly what they needed. A few hours that feel nothing like the rest of the workweek. One person ends up in a serious conversation with a chicken. When the riders come back, the whole group unwinds together.

A few common questions
What makes this different from a typical team outing?
Most team outings happen indoors: escape rooms, bowling, axe throwing. A day here is the opposite. You’re outside, some folks are riding through the conservation area, others are with the animals or by the pond. No screens, no forced corporate exercise. It feels nothing like the rest of the workweek. That’s the point.
Does everyone have to ride?
No. Riders and non-riders both have plenty to do. Some ride, others spend time with the animals, sit by the pond, or play lawn games. There’s room for everyone to have a good time regardless of whether they get in the saddle.
Is this only for businesses?
No. These outings are built around workplace groups and small teams, but they work just as well for adult birthdays, celebrations, and private groups that want a relaxed outdoor gathering.
